Climate protection within the agriculture -
Best-Practice examples

Complementary to modern farming methods, bio fuels in particular represent a significant possibility to reduce emissions of climate-damaging greenhouse gases both quantitatively as well as effectively. Biogas and plant-based biofuels contribute to the decarbonization of the agriculture and forestry mobility sector. Two further positive outputs however are the protein rich by-product (press cake or extraction grist) which can be used as fodder or even in alimentary as well as organic fertilizer.

Thereby, regionally closed energy and material cycles are created while enabling the food production independently of the international fossil oil markets.

In the following, we present a variety of examples which impressively show how active climate protection in the agriculture and forestry can be achieved by using bio fuels.
